Nike Air Max Plus TN SE Bleached Aqua

You won’t find sneakers with a more aggressive design than the Air Max Plus.

More commonly known as the Tn, or Requin, Sean McDowell’s classic bubble sneaker has a naturally rebellious aesthetic. But if the Air Max Plus is perceived in this way, it’s also and above all because of its early adoption by young people living on the housing estates.

Even today, the Tn is the Air Max by sneaker lovers from working-class neighborhoods.

It’s a status it’s been aspiring to shed for several years now, with new, more lifestyle-oriented colorways such as the Bleached Aqua.

Officially launched in 2018, the latter features a gradient finish that gives pride of place to hues ranging from turquoise to violet. Enhanced by pronounced white accents on the inner lining, laces and sole, this Bleached Aqua color remains a favorite among fans of the cult 1998 model.

Those paying close attention will also have noticed the reminder of colors used by Nike’s designers on the visible air cushions on the front of the foot, while those on the back are displayed in an orangey yellow found on the midsolealso on the heel.
